The S&C Switch Overload Test Block is used to test the switch machine overload circuit.  Based on    (236-382JR) our widely acclaimed Switch Obstruction Gauges, a 1 inch block is provided, creating an obstruction of sufficient size to prevent the switch points from reaching the position where machine travel stops. Current to the motor rises to the level that activates the overload circuit.  Overload Test Block is furnished on both sides of the hoop spring.  Two versions are available:  one with a tool chrome-plated, steel block and one with a high-durometer, heavy-duty, rubber block supported in a steel channel.
